The Worcester Society was formed in early 2008 with the mission of developing creative solutions to the issues facing Worcester Massachusetts utilizing local expertise and an unwavering commitment to our community. 

Our first task is to improve the existing system for hosting public events in the city. All cities are measured by the number of public events they play host to as a quality of life indicator. Ensuring the process for hosting and executing a successful event in the city of Worcester is as easy to navigate as possible must be a top priority for the city administration if we are to remain competitive in attracting and retaining residents and visitors alike. Using the expertise of local festival and event planners we aim to draft a more streamlined and user friendly system with the goal of encouraging more high quality public events.

The Worcester Society will be hosting an invite only forum for local event planners the evening of Wednesday May 7th at the Hotel Vernon, 1 Millbury St Worcester, MA. This event will be attended by members of the City Managers administration and will be the perfect opportunity to voice your concerns (or shower the administration with praise) in a constructive and productive environment.
